Susan has over 35 of years experience in commercial interior design, including senior living, education, healthcare and corporate.

Susan believes that good design positively impacts the lives of all of those who engage in a space. She is especially passionate about designing safe, comfortable and accessible environments for the aging population. Susan understands the unique set of design challenges that memory care and assisted living communities face and is committed to creating spaces that promote well-being and enhance quality of life.

Susan also teaches yoga and enjoys reading, painting, hiking, and travel.

Kate brings with her over 12 years of diverse experience in the commercial design industry. Her work includes retail, hospitality, senior living, workplace and higher education projects. Her unique creative flair is evident in all of her work.

Kate is an animal-loving vegetarian fueled by one-on- one conversations, yoga, and large amounts of coffee. A lover of all art, Kate and her husband Mike also own and operate a photography business. And if that’s not enough to keep her busy, she is also mom to an energetic little boy, Liam.

 

 
 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Susan Gladden Interiors, we provide interior design services including programming, space planning, 3D renderings, custom millwork design, detailed construction documents, materials and finish selection and specification, furniture selection, specification and bidding, furniture and finish standards programs, project management, and construction administration.

We believe that the following principles are essential in producing the best possible design solution:

Building a strong relationship with the client through listening and responding to the needs of the individual users.

Working closely with the client as well as other members of the team in order to achieve and implement the best possible design solution.
